Responsible for DCS commissioning, and startup of Desalination plant
(capacity of 2400m3/Day) and handover to the client (Qatar Petroleum).
Responsible for planning & mobilization of vendors. And installation,
commissioning of different vendor packages – DCS (Honeywell C-300),
Fire and Gas System (Honeywell), Air compressors (Atlas copco), Blowers
(Atlas copco), Electro-Chlorination Skid, HP pumps and LP pumps
(Flowserve) and Analyzers (Teledyne Analytical Instruments).
Preparation of documents required for engineering & commissioning.
Modification of documents, drawings if required on as red line mark up and
approval for the same.
Punch point clearing and management.
Worked on different instruments like PTs (Rosemount, Honeywell,
Ceraphant), LTs (Honeywell, Endress+hauser, Rosemount), FTs
(Honeywell, Endress+hauser, Bopp&Reuther), MOVs (Rotork, Emerson),
Control Valves (Severn Glocon, Siemens) and On/off valves (Rotork).
Responsible for Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Fire Alarm
Control System (Honeywell), Fire and Gas control Panel (Honeywell) and
HSSD system (VESDA).
Lead the group of Instrument engineers/technicians to ensure that precommissioning and commissioning work will be properly executed i.e.
Calibration of Instruments, Loop checking of Instruments, Testing of Fire
and Gas Detection System, Testing of CCTV, ACS, PAGA and MCC Panel
systems Loop check, functional check, Cause and Effect Check, Logic test
of Fire & Gas System and Process Instruments of different systems & subsystems.
Provide technical, hands-on support for the DCS/F&G/Device Testing
execution during commissioning and start-up over-site.
Interface with other departments within the project as required act on safety
risk points related to Instrumentation.

Reports to Commissioning Engineer regarding the Pre-commissioning and
Commissioning activities.
Review all the drawings like P&ID, Instrument Loop drawing, GA/IA
drawings, and Bloc diagram….
