Moodle Tutor apple badge (requires student nomination)
Awarded to recognise high quality of Moodle course provision by a lecturer.
Students will be asked to nominate a member of staff for this award in June
every year. Votes will be cast and tracked through Moodle.
iTutor badge (requires student nomination)
Awarded to recognise the best use of e-learning technology in the classroom
by a lecturer. Students will be asked to nominate a member of staff for this
award in June every year. Votes will be cast and tracked through Moodle.
Exemplar
Moodle Tutor – best practice mini-badge
To be awarded by the e-learning team in recognition of a newly created
Moodle course which highlights best practice.
 Creating a new Moodle course in general compliance with Moodle
guidelines issued by the e-learning team
 By incorporating innovative use of assessments or resources
Planner, Creator and Facilitator open badges to be awarded as the result
of Moodle reports identifying completion of each badge level on a
monthly basis.
