Summer Reading Assignment
●
Choose one book to read and complete the appropriate “Literacy Link” (fiction or non-fiction)
about that book. The labeling of the books has to do with the main character/s in the book. It
does not mean that those are only for boys and/or girls. Choose your book based on your
interest in the subject matter. Read the summaries on the internet and then decide!
●
It is highly recommended, but not required, that students choose one of the books from the
above list, as they are at an appropriate level and readily available in most libraries.
●
Students are welcome to read more than one book, but only have to do the “Literacy Link” for
one.
