Leadership Council Job Descriptions
Executive Cabinet:
V.P. of Business (Elected/Fall):

Coordinates all ticket sales, cash box requests, and picture distributions
Coordinates all ASB work crews (assembly set-up, dance set-up, etc. )
 Coordinates all RBHS student fundraisers and maintains yearly fundraising calendar
and fundraising request notebook
 Works with administration to coordinate ASB involvement in registration
 Coordinates ASB concession activities
 Organizes a usable filing system and files paperwork
 Helps ASB advisor with planning of leadership retreats
 Reserves all facilities for ASB activities
 Maintains current, updated position notebook
 Assists in all A.S.B. functions

V.P. of Finance (Elected/Fall):

Possesses detailed knowledge of ASB budget
Works closely with the finance office and performs daily clerical duties in the finance
office
 Approves all school expenditures
 Reviews ASB month-end budget reports
 Responsible for all financial requests including campus wide clubs, athletic teams, and the
ASB
 Brings all proposed expenses to leadership council
 Signs all school checks and works with ASB Director in creating and regulating ASB
budget
 Maintains current, updated position notebook
 Assists in all A.S.B. functions



Plans and creates Senior Homecoming float
Organizes end of the year senior activities (Senior Picnic, etc.)

Class Competition and Entertainment Commissioner(Elected/Fall):

Plans and serves as M.C. for all class competitions
 Contacts and schedules lunch time bands and entertainment
 Coordinate yearly Battle of the Bands Competition
 Responsible for submitting detailed plans for all competitions and entertainment at least
one week prior to the event
 Works closely with Spirit and Assemblies Commissioners to plan spirit events
 Determine and honor yearly Class of the Year
 Work closely with Class presidents to ensure participation in class competitions
 Keep updated class competition points and update quad sign on regular basis
 Organize rehearsals and practices when necessary
 Maintains current, updated position notebook
 Assists in all A.S.B. functions

School Spirit and Assemblies Commissioner (Elected/Fall):

Organize and coordinate all school assemblies
Responsible for all assembly rehearsals
 Responsible for all activities to increase spirit at R.B.H.S.
 Responsible for care and maintenance of R.B.H.S. bronco mascot
 Responsible for the care of, and hanging/taking down of R.B. vinyl spirit signs at
athletic events
 Work with Class Competition and Entertainment Commissioners to create a list of
acceptable class competition activities
 Responsible for planning all spirit activities (e.g. Bronco Attacks) a minimum of one
week in advance
 Maintain current, updated position notebook
 Assist in all A.S.B. functions

Public Relations Commissioners (Elected/Fall):
 Coordinates school-wide communication through posters, bulletin announcements,
audio announcements, etc.
 Prepares and distributes monthly activities calendar
 Updates monthly calendar in RBHS Faculty workroom
 Establishes comprehensive, theme based programs to promote ASB events
 Coordinates sign-making and sign-hanging crews
 Serves as morning "voice of the Broncos" over the announcements
 Works with Community Marketing commissioner to write press releases
 Maintains all publicity equipment and supplies; works with secretary to replenish
supplies
 Assists in all ASB functions
Human Relations Commissioners (Elected/Spring):

Serves on the R.B.H.S. Human Relations Committee
 Coordinates R.B.H.S. Human Relations Conference
 Coordinate R.B.H.S. Multi-Cultural Faire
 Coordinates Cultural Appreciation Week activities
 Promotes student awareness and appreciation of cultural diversity
 Generates new ideas to promote awareness of human relation issues
 Maintain current, updated position notebook
 Assist in all A.S.B. functions
Logistics Commissioners (Elected/Fall):










Maintains storage organization in all ASB facilities
Organizes and maintains ASB patio/work area
Inventories all ASB items/equipment in storage facilities
Takes charge of labor and equipment in storage facilities
Responsible for hanging all ASB activity signs around campus
Responsible for tracking all loaned equipment
Responsible for re-order of all supplies
Responsible for trailer ordering and breakdown of floats at homecoming
Assists in all ASB functions
Music Commissioner (Elected/Fall):







Maintains all ASB audio equipment
Plays multi-source music at lunch and all other ASB activities
Maintains ASB CD collection, and purchases new ones with approval of the Activity
Director
Updates and documents current list of music
Coordinates outside groups at lunch (bands, karaoke, DJs, etc.)
Responsible for current, updated, position notebook
Assists in all ASB functions
Athletics & Fine Arts Commissioner (Elected/Fall):










Publicizes all athletic events
Works closely with Athletic Spirit Commissioner, School wide Spirit Commissioner,
and the Class Competition Commissioner to recognize all athletic events
Coordinates athletic spirit weeks to honor each athletic team
Liaison to all coaches and the athletic director
Oversees athlete of the month
Maintains athletic case next to library
Serves as a liaison to Pancake Breakfast
Assists with all lunchtime pep rallies
