Purpose
The UES 600 sensor is determined for a detecion of ultrasonic emission arising by the
movement of mechanic particles at pipeline walls, pressure gases fadings, cavitation, mechanic
impulses and at the incidence of particles on the fixed blocks, at electric discharges, crack of
material etc. There are many possibilites of its using and others can be found.
UES sensors are suitable e.g. for
 control of the transport of loose material in pipelines, hoppers, bins
 arise and intensity detection of the cavitation in pumps and pipelines
 detection of clean elements passage by the pipeline in gas and water industry
 control of pressure flanges and pipelines leakage with gases and liquids
 detection of mechanic impulses in bearings and rotatory machines constructions
 detection of firm particles presence in liquids (sugar crystal in molasses at the failure of
centrifugal apparatus screen, dusty particles bore in gases)
 detection of electric discharges in gases and insulators, namely for the detection of partial
discharges
Description
The emission sensor consists of an ultrasonic emission pick-up in the contact design for
attachment on the monitored object or contactless design for scanning of acoustic emission. To
the sensor is connected the evaluation electronics for signal processing, transformation of signal
on the standard electronic level and switching in case of specified limits overrun. For false
signals preclusion is in the electronic part also the possibility of adjustable switch delay.
The sensor is equipped by two column displays for indication of actual emission value and
for presentation of long-term level of the signal. The piezoelectric accelerometer type SV 156 is
used like the signal sensor. Like the contactless sensor is used the pressure sensor ST 609.
