and will be placed into different classes according to their actual level of Chinese .
Before the new semester starts, the College will announce the information regarding the
placement of students into different classes, school timetable and classroom arrangement at
the bulletin boards in the classroom building, the Overseas Students Apartment and the office
of the College. Such information will also be released online.
In the first week of the new semester, the international student is allowed to attend the class
he/she is placed in on a trial basis. If he/she finds this class does not fit in with his/her
Chinese level, he/she may go to the International Students Management Office to request a
transfer to another class in the second week. He/She may transfer to another class after
getting the approval. The international students are not allowed to change classes by
themselves.
If an international student has achieved excellent results in his/her study, he/she may transfer
to a class of a higher level by applying to the International Students Management Office and
getting the score of over 90 in the achievement test.
If the international student wants to ask for leave of no more than one day, he/she needs only
to get the approval from his/her class advisor who will report to the International Students
Management Office for record. But if the leave is from two days to one week, he/she must

course, then the student is not allowed to take the final exam of that course.
Failure in the overall assessment of a certain course in a semester will require the student to
study the course again in the next semester.

the courses in the curriculum. Students who drop out halfway may get a certificate of
schooling according to specific circumstances.
