Programme Implementation
Implementation Idea – Market transformation through
awareness; and encouragement through branding,
certification & labeling
 Initially, certification from reputed German/Indian institutions
 BEE (Ministry of Power, established brand) may eventually get involved
The certificate to act as a valid proof for  Confirming to efficiency requirements as set under the programme
 Identifying loan accounts to be brought under the programme (and
associated refinance scheme)

 Initially for housing projects with some green building
certification, established energy efficiency initiatives
