 Millennium Diamond 599 passengers catamaran –
operating for City Cruises, London
 The Brodarski Institute designed, tested and built a 37m
long steel catamaran whose innovations include novel
asymmetric hulls which reduce resistance and wash and
thus the power and fuel required, and automatic
regulation of the ballast tanks.
 Powered by energy-efficient diesel engines adjusted to
the low sulphur level of biodiesel fuel, the boat also has
solar panels which continuously recharge its batteries,
on-board recycling facilities and software to optimise
noise abatement.
