Dewae Program Introduction
• DEWAE Program is the Initiative of Ministry of
Communication and Information Technology
of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan with the
objective to expand connectivity, mainstream
use of mobile applications and develop
capacity of IT sector.
• Under the sub component 2 of the fund AIMS
has been contracted as DEWAE Management
Firm to manage grant of $5 million
What is Dewae All About
 DEWAE is MCIT Initiative towards the enactment of
Innovation Culture is our Society
 DEWAE will focus on Innovative M-Gov Ideas, solutions and
other ICT related innovations
 DEWAE will provide monetary awards to innovative ideas,
solutions and technologies by Afghans.
 Who can be awarded: Afghan Individuals, Students, Local
ICT companies…
