Woodhead Publishing（伍德海德出版社）是英国主要的独立科技出版
社之一，由马丁伍德海德于1989年成立。2004年，Woodhead
Publishing发布了第一批电子书。2010年以前，其电子书通过重点电子
合作伙伴进行销售，包括Knovel、Ebrary、NetLibrary以及CRC Press。
2008年，woodhead 出版社收购了Chandos Publishing。chandos是关于
图书馆信息科学知识管理、商业信息走势、亚洲研究的出版社，出版
电子书超过350本。
2013年8月，Woodhead出版社正式被Elsevier出版集团收购，所属
Woodhead和Chandos将成为Elsevier 旗下的重要学术类品牌。
