The name of Mute books is inspired by all those “forbidden books”, books that couldn’t be read during the
revolution period in many cultures. So we played with classical titles, to realize empty note books, that anyone can
freely fill out with its own feeling
From a collaboration between Slow and a traditional Florentine typography was born our collection of note books.
The Mute books collection re-interpretates classical titles, mixing traditional printing and binding technique
together with a fresh spirit, added by the handcoloured slice.
The artisanal technique allows our clients to personalize the edge colour to create their own special book.
