Collocation
Game

Inha TESOL
Game Objectives
I
will show you some language with
blanks.
 Your team must guess what word fits in
the blanks.
 The word you choose must collocate well
with the given language.
 Although more than one word might fit in
the blank, you must guess the exact word
that I have chosen.
Rules
I
will show one clue. Your group has a
chance to guess what word fits in the
blank. You only get one guess per clue so
use it wisely.
 If nobody can guess the word that fits in
the blank, then I will reveal another clue.
 We will repeat the process until one group
guesses the word or we run out of clues.
Practice round:
 Let’s
try a practice round before we
begin.
 Remember you only get one guess per
group per clue.
