- Calculus, a Complete Course, Robert A. Adams & Cristopher Essex, 8 th edition,
Pearson.
The mentioned sections belong to the material for the examination. The numbering of
the sections and exercises is in accordance with that of the 8th edition of the book.
Instruction exercises have been selected for every section. The exercises constitute a
minimal set to understand the subject matter. Make these exercises.
Solutions to even-numbered exercises are available in
- Calculus Student Solutions Manual, Robert A. Adams & Cristopher Essex, 8 th
edition, Pearson.
If you want to improve your computational skills make the exercises of the mentioned
series from
- Lecture Notes Algebraic Skills, number 2611 (in English) or
- Dictaat Rekenvaardigheden, nummer 2589 (in Dutch),
both available at the course web page
A very useful book is
- All you need in maths!, Jan van de Craats & Rob Bosch, 1st edition, Pearson (in
English), or
- Basisboek Wiskunde, Jan van de Craats & Rob Bosch, tweede editie, Pearson
(in Dutch)
