Highlights on the features of the Assessment System
Grades ( 1 – 5 )
• Students in grades (1 – 5) be promoted to upper grade
automatically.
• Finale score for all subjects is 100 degrees.
• Remedial programs applied at the end of the school year.
• Continuous assessment is apply on ALL subjects.

• Subjects divided to two groups.
• Continuous assessment (40%) & End of Trimester test (60%)
• Final score for all subjects 100, Minimum 50%

Grades ( 10 – 12 )
• Students in grade 10 study ALL subjects.
• The scientific or literary section for grades ( 11 – 12 ).
• Final score for all subjects 100, Minimum 50% (Minimum 60%).
• Continuous assessment (40%) & End of Trimester test (60%).
• Standardized test is applied to students in grade 12 at the end of
each Trimester.

Overview
 National assessment based on the Ministry curriculum.
 Administered annually every year since 2010-2011.
 Assessment at Grades 3, 5, 7 and 9 areas in the 4 core subjects of
Arabic, English, Mathematics and Science.
 Diagnostic Reports for all students (what students know and can do).
 Monitor progress over time.
