Project justification
Main Project Objective
 Increase the overall civil emergency and rescue
performance and increase the overall cooperation
on this particular area between Russia and
Norway in the Barents region.
 This is to be done by a selective development of
professional rescue training system in the NorthWest of Russia on the base of sharing experience
and best practices between rescue organizations
of the Arkhangelsk Region and Norway.

Secondary objective
 For Falck Nutec there is a strategic long term
commercial interest in acting as a facilitator and
provide non-profit support to a selection of civil
emergency and rescue performance institutions in
North West of Russia.

- Best practices when organizing
rescue operations at sea

cross border rescue resources, share of common
training programs offered by Falck Nutec
 - Development of rescue training system in the
Arkhangelsk Region on the base of successful
Norwegian experience,

organizations providing professional trainings of
rescuers and defence
services of the Arkhangelsk Region and Norway,
 Elaboration of common concepts of constructing a
system for training of Multi-Functional Rescuers at
the ARRS,serving the Arkhangelsk Region in
cooperation with Norwegian experts.
