Education Needs practices among SEAMEO
member countries
Major Programmes: Training
1. TVET- Dietary and Food Technology for Special Education
(jointly organized with National Technology University of
Malaysia)
2. Pedagogy and approaches in teaching Autistic kids
3. Master in Education (Special Education) jointly organized
with National University of Malaysia (UKM)
Major Programmes:
Research and Development
1. Transition Program from school to career for
Special Education students.
2. Technical Vocational Education and Training
(Univerisity of Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia)
3. Inclusive Education
Major Programmes:
Community Outreach
1. Sporting event (with special education students)
2. Arts exhibition for Special Education students
3. Sexual Education talk (jointly organized with
Permata Kurnia-Prime Minister’s Department)
Significant Accomplishments

Organised a Seminar on Inclusive Education collaboration with UKM
and Universities in Indonesia

Conducted 3 customized courses for educators/teacher educators in
Malaysia
-Multi Sensory Approach
-Sensory Integration in Special Education
-Hydroponic for Special Education

Master in Education (Special Education) Program with National
University of Malaysia (UKM)
4.
Signing of Letter of Intent with 5 Universities from Indonesia
5.
One regular course to be conducted in May (Dietary and Food
Technology for Special Education for SEAMEO member countries)
