1. Storage/Warehousing company is licensed and registered. It charges storage fees
(per month/season and per MT)
2. On deposit of grain/cereals farmer obtain a “storage receipt”
3. Farmer is paid upfront 80% of the value of the grain as at deposit time and 20% after
grain is sold and some profit shared.
4. Warehouses can be linked online using SMS and/or IT
