The society Bohus Elfsborghs Caroliner
Bohus Elfsborghs Caroliner, Göteborg, Sweden
The 'Bohus Elfsborghs Caroliner' society preserves the ancient traditions of the regiments who
protected the city of Gothenburg and the 'New Elfsborg' fortress at the turn of the 1600-1700
centuries.
Since July 2010 the society has also been the official garrison troops for the 'Bohus' fortress in
the city of Kungälv which is situated approximately 20 kilometres (2 Swedish miles)
northeast of Gothenburg.
The society was founded in 1985 and performs with infantry, artillery and cavalry troops.
Our motto is: “We preserve, we show and we bring history to life”.
