Oliver's Hill, 12/1 Mawaqeet, 16/1 Real Milan
Racingpost: GOLD PRESENT went close at Exeter on his hurdling
debut last month and that form received a major boost when the winner
landed the Fred Winter at Cheltenham next time. He sets a clear
standard here and should be able to take advantage of a golden
opportunity on his third start. The main danger is dual Flat winner Eco
Warrior, who was a promising third on his recent hurdling/stable
debut.[David Moon]
Racingpost: ATLANTIC GOLD got back on track with a good second in
a 2m6f Fontwell novice last month and the winner franked the form by
finishing placed in a Grade 3 handicap next time. This lightly raced 5yo
still has potential and could be a major factor off a feasible opening
mark. 2m4f maiden winner Nightline is also interesting on his handicap
debut, while Uracalin could recapture form stepped back up in trip and
returned to better ground.[David Moon]

10/1 Thomas Junior, 16/1 Tribal Dance, 20/1 The Pier, 25/1 The
Gunner Brady, 33/1 Vering, 33/1 Derryogue
Racingpost: SAINT HELENA is a 2m hurdle winner who has been in
decent form on the Flat this year and could be a major player off a
workable mark in this weak race. Cherry Tiger has something to prove
back over hurdles but this is his handicap debut in this sphere and he
was successful on the Flat this winter. Jumeirah Liberty is another
runner who has questions to answer but he was a market springer in a
Wincanton handicap last time and a tongue-tie and switch to better
ground could help spark an improved effort here.[David Moon]
Racingpost: JAY ARE (nap) has proved a revelation over fences
recently and trounced his rivals when completing a double in an Exeter
handicap on Tuesday. He looks very well treated before his mark is
revised again and should be hard to beat with a good claimer booked.
Thoresby justified support back over fences last time and is respected
off 4lb higher, while Thomas Junior was a breakthrough winner over
hurdles 18 days ago and could go well if he takes to chasing
here.[David Moon]

Racingpost: Hard to make a solid case for any of the five runners and
ROLL THE DICE needs to rediscover some spark but he has has
decent claims on his rallying second at Ludlow in December and has
shaped as though a step up to this sort of trip could suit. Qulinton is
potentially very well treated and was placed over 3m6f on his
penultimate run, while Take The Mick is probably still not handicapped
out of things and could make a bold bid if he can bounce again.[David
Moon]
Racingpost: NATIVE EXPLORER, who has shaped with promise in
decent events on both of her hurdle runs, makes her handicap debut off
a fair mark and is an interesting contender with a tongue-tie now
applied. David Pipe's Alezanna is another runner who could find
significant improvement on her handicap hurdle debut, while In The
Crowd, who is eased in the grade, has claims if he can get back near
his best for a new yard.[David Moon]
