1. In our lives, Lord, be glo-ri-fied, be glo-ri-fied;
In our lives, Lord, be glo-ri-fied to- day.
2. In our homes, Lord, be glo-ri-fied, be glo-ri-fied;
In our homes, Lord, be glo-ri-fied to- day.
3. In your church, Lord, be glo-ri-fied, be glo-ri-fied.
In your church, Lord, be glo-ri-fied to- day.
4. In your world, Lord, be glo-ri-fied, be glo-ri-fied.
In your world, Lord, be glo-ri-fied to- day.
One: Sing to God, O
kingdom of the earth; sing
praises to the Lord.
All: Awesome is God in his
sanctuary, the God of
Israel; he gives power and
strength to his people.
Blessed be God!

Thou Great Jehovah”

Death of death, and hell’s de- struc- tion,
All: Have mercy on us, O
God, in your loving-kindness.
In your great compassion,
cleanse us from our sin.
Create in us a clean heart, O
God, and renew a right spirit
within us.
Do not cast us from your
presence, or take your holy
spirit from us. Restore to us
the joy of your salvation and
sustain us with your
bountiful spirit.
Lord, have mercy on us and
hear us as we silently
confess.
Silent Confession
One: Hear the good news!
Who is in a position to
condemn? Only Christ and
Christ died for us, Christ rose
for us, Christ reigns in power
for us, Christ prays for us.
Anyone who is in Christ is a
new creation, the old life has
gone; and a new life begun.
Know that you are forgiven
and be at peace.
All: Amen.

One: Blessed are you, God
of all creation.
All: Through your
goodness we have these
gifts to share.
One: Accept and use our
offerings for your glory.
All: And for the service of
your kingdom. Amen

Acts 1:6-14
6So
when they had come together,
they asked him, “Lord, is this the
time when you will restore the
kingdom to Israel?” 7He replied, “It
is not for you to know the times or
periods that the Father has set by his
own authority.
8But
you will receive power when
the Holy Spirit has come upon you;
and you will be my witnesses in
Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria,
and to the ends of the earth.”
9When
he had said this, as they were
watching, he was lifted up, and a
cloud took him out of their sight.
10While he was going and they were
gazing up toward heaven, suddenly
two men in white robes stood by
them.
11They
said, “Men of Galilee, why
do you stand looking up toward
heaven? This Jesus, who has been
taken up from you into heaven, will
come in the same way as you saw
him go into heaven.”
12Then
they returned to Jerusalem
from the mount called Olivet, which
is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day’s
13
journey away. When they had
entered the city, they went to the
room upstairs where they were
staying,
Peter, and John, and James, and
Andrew, Philip and Thomas,
Bartholomew and Matthew, James
son of Alphaeus, and Simon the
Zealot, and Judas son of James.
14All
these were constantly
devoting themselves to prayer,
together with certain women,
including Mary the mother of Jesus,
as well as his brothers.
One: The Word of the Lord.
All: Thanks be to God.

The Great Prayer of
Thanksgiving
Leader: The Lord be with
you.
People: And also with you.
Leader: Lift up your hearts.
People: We lift them to the
Lord.
Leader: Let us give thanks to
the Lord our God.
People: It is right to give
our thanks and praise.
Leader: …
Therefore, we praise You,
joining our voices with the
choirs of heaven and with
all the faithful of every time
and place, who forever sing
to the glory of Your name:
Unison: Holy, Holy, Holy
Lord, God of power and
might, heaven and earth are
full of your glory, Hosanna in
the highest. Blessed is he
who comes in the name of
the Lord. Hosanna in the
highest.
Leader: …
Great is the mystery of faith.
People: Christ has died,
Christ has risen, Christ will
come again.
Our Father who art in
heaven, hallowed be thy
name. Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done, on earth
as it is in heaven. Give us
this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors;
and lead us not into
temptation, but deliver us
from evil. For thine is the
kingdom and the power
and the glory, forever.
Amen

Prayer After Communion
The Apostle’s Creed
I believe in God, the Father
Almighty, creator of
heaven and earth. I believe
in Jesus Christ , God’s
only Son, our Lord, who
was conceived by the Holy
Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius
Pilate, was crucified, died,
and was buried; he
descended to the dead. On
the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right
hand of the Father, and he
will come to judge the
living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the universal church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the
body, and the life
everlasting. Amen
