ORDER:
The following notification will be published in an Extra-ordinary Issue of
the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, dated 6th of April, 2011.
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the
Constitution of India, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, hereby makes the
following amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Rural Water Supply Engineering
Service Rules, 2008, issued in G.O.Ms.No.219, Panchayat Raj and Rural
Development (Estt.III) Department, dated: 11.06.2008 and published in the PartVII Extra-ordinary Issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette No.3, dated 11th
June,
2008 as subsequently amended.
AMENDMENTS
In the said rules :(1)
in rule 3,
(a) under Note (2), the expression “Mechanical Engineering”, shall be
omitted.
(b) under Note (3), the expression, “/ Mech”, shall be omitted.

in the Annexure, under class – A, against the category - 6, “Assistant
Executive Engineer”, for the existing qualification in Column -(3), the following
shall be substituted namely :“Must possess a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering of a
University in India established or incorporated by or under Central
Act, Provincial Act, or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the
University Grants Commission or a pass in Sec. A&B of AMIE
examination conducted by Institute of Engineers in Civil”.
