Summary
The story happened between a country-man who is selling pears on the market and a poor priest
who is begging on the market. The country-man refused to share pears with the priest for free
while a constable bought a pear for the priest. The priest ate the pear and planted the seed of the
pear in front of other people on the market. It suddenly grew into a giant pear tree with lots of
pear fruits on it. The priest shared all of the pears with people on the market for free. At last, it
turned out that the priest played some tricks on the country-man’s pears and transfer these pears
to the pear tree he planted in front of others. The country-man lost all of his pears just because he
denied helping the priest.
