Spiritual Autobiography Guidelines
As part of the process of becoming a Camaldolese Oblate, we ask that you send us
your spiritual autobiography in order that we might help you discern whether this
is a suitable path for you. Take some time to pray and ponder before you begin
writing your two-page narrative. If you wish, you may use the prompts below to
help you clarify your thoughts.

Tell us about your spiritual journey.
Describe what or who has led you to inquire about the Camaldolese charism.
What do you hope to receive from being a member of the Oblate
community?
What are some of your lived experiences of spirituality?
What aspect of Camaldolese spirituality interests you most and why? For
example, are you most drawn to contemplative prayer, inter-faith dialogue,
new monasticism, the hermit dimension, care of the environment?
