Women’s Spirituality - a movement of women who are asking questions, exploring
their herstory, getting clear about their beliefs, and finding their voice. It’s a process
of coming to greater awareness of what we hold sacred and finding ways to express
our spiritual beliefs in the world.
The books we choose will often bring us back in time to discover the earliest origins
of the Sacred Feminine. We will also encounter the great religions of the world that
for thousands of years have been based on men’s interpretations of life:
Other books will explore women’s individual spiritual journeys. These journeys may
grow out of hope or longing; or out of a growing dissatisfaction, a lack of fulfillment,
anger, or boredom with organized religion.
