INTRODUCTION
Sergia Soriano Esteban Integrated School II recognizes the importance of continuous
professional development through trainings, seminars, learning action cells and team buildings
as stipulated in Republic Act No. 8545 which emphaisizes the need to implement programs that
improve the quality of education. In connection with this, we find it essential to undertake
continuous trainings, capacity building activities and seminars to enable us to become more
effective and committed teachers for our millennial learners. As we progress, we should not be
stagnated and be left behind as the world evolved in a very challenging era.
In this regard, the proponent wishes to conduct an Online In-Service Training (INSET)
for teachers entitled: Teaching Effectively Through Enhanced Intervention Materials BasedInstruction and Teaching Strategies in the New Normal on March 15-19, 2021; 7:30AM – 3:30PM.
This training shall capacitate teachers with enough knowledge and skills in crafting appropriate
teaching and learning resources and processes to address the needs of the learners in this time
of pandemic.

PROJECT PURPOSE
The five- day training-workshop aims to:
1. To develop skills in the construction of Intervetion Materials such as the SIM to foster the
needs of slow learners;

2. To gain knowledge about the Contextualization and Localization of the Curriculum;
3. To revisit teachers IPCRF;
4. To strengthen the team spirit among and between the Junior High School Teachers;
5. To generate a more efficient and professional working force as a cohesive unit to achieve
desired objectives and outcomes;
6. To understand how stress affects our life and develop a personal plan for stress management
and self care;
7. To inspire and empower women to be leaders and agents of change.
IV.
Project Description
The participants in this training-workshop are the Junior High School Teachers of Sergia
Soriano Esteban Integrated School II-Coral. Participants are expected to join thru Google
Meet. Subsequently, the PSDS will monitor and evaluate the implementation of INSET
Matrix/Activities. Hence, output from this INSET will be provided by the committee on
documentation as basis for evaluation and recommendation.
