Connection of 2 thermocouples
Data logger with two external thermocouple inputs.
Both inputs can only be used with the
same type of thermocouple probe. It is
not possible to combine two different
types of thermocouple at the same time.
The thermocouple used (see technical
data for types available) can be adjusted
with a rotary switch on the underside of
the sensor module.
The thermocouples are contacted via
SMP connectors.
Proprietary thermocouple sensors may
also be used in accordance with our type
descriptions.

Configuring measuring instruments
Data reading, data analysis
Graphic display
This permits a quick overview of the
characteristics of the measuring data.
Intuitively useable with zoom function
from display of annual data creation
ranging to 10 minute detail display.
Limit violation
A specification of the upper and lower limit
per measuring channel can be parameterised
by the user.
Critical periods can be rapidly filtered
by means of graphic display.
Configuration of measuring instrument
The user configures the measuring and storage
intervals of the data logger.
The same applies when the maximum and
minimum values as well as the values
measured are to be written in the logger.
There is an input option for the offset in
the configuration
(1 point adjustment after calibration).
Recording function (PC)
In addition to the "offline option"
(memory readout) the OPUS 10 can operated
in "offline".
When the logger is connected to a PC the
measured data is recorded and indicated
online via SmartGraph software.

Automatic printing of various measuring points
and transfer of data to proprietary computer program
Data export
Measuring data from the internal SmartGraph
data format can be used for calculations.
For this purposes there is a powerful export
function for the selection of various data
formats with different separators and arbitrary
intervals.

Important and useful in case of many
dataloggers Herewith, any time interval for
all dataloggers can be printed,
different print-out options
Modification of data indication
When the dew point is to be indicated on the
OPUS display instead of the relative humidity,
the conversion of the display is configured for
this purpose.

The administrator can create as many users
as required, who are then able to use the
opportunities of the software restricted
according to the different access rights.

Electronic documents
Measured data intervals can be archived
electronically to be tamper resistant
e.g. Qualification of systems
e.g. Long-term stability testing
To achieve this, relevant intervals from the
measuring instruments are archived in "document
types" and individual documents are archived.
These can be freely defined by the users.
User rights
Electronic documents can be generated,
acknowledged and / or approved.
The different rights are allocated in the user
administration.
Signature regulations are entrained in the
document as electronic signatures.
Signature is given via a password.
Audit trail
All actions (e.g. instrument selection, offset
modification, software starting) including the limit
violation are saved in an audit trail.
Hence the Pharma software meets the demands
of "Part 11" (21 CFR 11).
