DistribuTECH, the largest U.S. conference that covers the smart grid from-end-to-end held in San
Diego, Calif. Jan. 29-31, finished the week with record-breaking registration numbers. DistribuTECH
is the utility industry’s leading smart grid conference and exposition, covering automation and control
systems, energy efficiency, demand response, renewable energy integration, advanced metering,
T&D system operation and reliability, power delivery equipment, commercial and industrial energy
management technology and water utility technology.
This year, the conference featured 14 conference tracks, 77 conference sessions, more than 180 utility speakers, more than 350 of the industry’s top
speakers and 25 Utility University courses. DistribuTECH continues to lead the way in information exchange and utility education. From instructional
courses to experts delivering the latest industry details, DistribuTECH had a lot of power knowledge in San Diego.
DistribuTECH had two co-located events in San Diego, the Utility Products Conference & Exposition and the Electric Light & Power Executive
Conference. Utility Products Conference & Exposition held workshops on the exhibit floor at the San Diego Convention Center. The Electric Light &
Power Executive Conference preceded DistribuTECH, Jan. 27-28, 2013, at the Hilton Bayfront San Diego Hotel.
