Prior to your contacting your distributor or Norwesco’s Customer Service
Department, you can determine, by the serial number, whether the tank is still
within the warranty period. Shown below is an example of a Norwesco serial
number – the first two digits designate the manufacturing facility, the third and
fourth digits represent the year of manufacture and the remaining digits are
sequentially assigned by our computer (these numbers can be looked up in our
computer system to obtain the exact date of manufacture).

Using the above information, you would be able to determine a tank with this
serial number was manufactured in our Hanford, CA facility in the year 2013. To
assist you in determining which facility manufactured your tank, their numbers
