Application
The streamline SDS 7 starters reduce motor
starting current to one third of the DOL start
current with a resultant reduction in starting torque
to one third. Six motor leads are required for
star/delta starting.

Changeover timer
The SDS 7 starters are fitted with a compact RZ7
electronic timer with adjustable changeover time
giving a range of 1.5 to 30 seconds. The timer also
includes a fixed transition time of 50-65 mSecs.
The latest technology in contactors and motor
protection
The starters are fitted with the latest ACS-CA 7
contactors and the unique CEP 7 electronic
overload. The CEP 7 provides rapid phase loss
protection and offers reduced heat output because
no heating elements are used.
