Endorsed Provider Model Registered Training Organisation Application Form Endorsed Provider Model - RTO Application Form Overview The Northern Territory vocational education and training sector is managed and administered by the Department of Business (the Department) under the Northern Territory Employment and Training Act, who seeks to ensure quality nationally recognised training and assessment outcomes for Territorians and local businesses. Achievement of quality training and assessment outcomes depends on the engagement of training providers who have relevant experience, capacity, capability and high levels of performance. As such, access to government funding for training delivery and assessment will be prioritised through an endorsed provider model. To be eligible to access public funding for delivery and assessment of nationally recognised training in the Northern Territory, registered training organisations (RTOs) are required to achieve endorsed provider status and maintain that status as per the guidelines. Being eligible to access public funding does not guarantee that funding will be provided – it enables an RTO to apply for funding as it becomes available. Before you begin Visit the Northern Territory Department of Business website (http://www.dob.nt.gov.au/) and review the funding agreement, relevant training policies and the Endorsed Provider Model guidelines carefully.
