WHAT
MAKES ME
DIFFERENT?
“I SUPPORT A
HOME FOR DOGS.”
I love dogs. If I could have a house full of them,
I would! That’s why I’m a sponsor for a canine
charity. I give money for food and facilities that
help dogs from troubled backgrounds.
I’m glad I chose the Insurance programme here.
Being there for customers when they need us
most means a lot to me. And helping people
protect the things that matter to them is a great
reason to get out of bed each morning.

This division acts as the second line of defence

There’s nothing like being a forward on a rugby

But mostly it’s about team spirit and loyalty to
those around you. And what I’ve learned here,

APPLICATION PROCESS
AND HOW TO APPLY
Step inside Lloyds Banking Group and you’ll enjoy
a warm welcome. You’ll discover an open-minded
community that relishes diversity, encourages
innovation and values curiosity. After all, we’re
the bank that strives to be the best for customers.
Everything we do is driven to help Britain prosper.
And it’s fresh thinking which makes that happen.
We know the best way to achieve our ambitious
goals is to build a collaborative community of
dedicated individuals, united by shared purpose,
but each defined by their own unique passions.
It takes people as diverse as the population to help
the nation thrive. By working together, we harness
all kinds of strengths to make a difference.
Everyone here believes in putting customers first.
In return for their commitment, we make sure our
people are a priority, too. So as part of our Group,
you’ll benefit from our commitment to supporting
your success. That means everything from flexible
working hours, through to comprehensive
development opportunities.
1. APPLICATION
& ONLINE TESTING
We know it’s vital for you to follow your own path
of discovery and growth. That’s why, in addition to
the variety on offer within your specially designed
development curriculum, you’ll also be encouraged
to learn about areas beyond your programme.
We’ve designed an application process that’s all
about insight.
You’ll enjoy the chance to follow your personal
interests and get involved with projects outside
your regular role. What’s more, we’ll give you scope
to make a direct difference to your community,
perhaps by volunteering for one of our
charity challenges.
Naturally, we want to understand the things that
make you unique, the ways you can contribute to
our diverse community, and the potential we can
help you realise.
To receive an offer, you’ll need to pass each stage
of the process:

We’ll assess you by taking into consideration
various elements including your educational
attainment at degree level, your performance on
the Numerical Reasoning Test and the Strengths
and Cultural Assessment which you’ll be asked
to complete at this stage.

2. STRENGTHS-BASED VIDEO INTERVIEW
This is your opportunity to tell us why you want
to work with us. We’ll explore your personal
strengths and what motivates you. This is the final
stage of the process for Intern applicants.
3. ASSESSMENT CENTRE — THE INNOVATION LAB
Graduate applicants progress to an assessment
day. This will allow us to get to know each other
more and allow you to find out more about the
programme you have applied for. The day will
involve a variety of engaging exercises, including
an interview, role-play and group activity.
It normally takes between six and eight weeks from
application to job offer. We will provide a detailed
feedback report on your observed strengths and
developmental areas.
