Technical Support Representative
The Serotek Corporation has been a pioneer in providing cloud based access solutions for more than 11
years. The company strives to create affordable access solutions for reading the web, remote training
and troubleshooting tools, and social communications software. Serotek, makers of System Access and
iBlink Radio, is constantly working towards technology innovations that provide accessibility anywhere.
Serotek is currently looking for dynamic individuals to join the team in the area of Technical Support.
This is a part time position.
Title: Technical Support Representative
The primary role of the Technical Support Representative is to directly interact with Serotek customers
,and the Serotek team, in matters of technical support and sales inquiries . Strong verbal and written
communication skills are required. A working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Operating System
and Microsoft Office Suite is also required. Experience with multiple OS platforms, including Windows,
OSx, Android and iOS is preferred.
Job Duties:
Respond directly to phone and email customer and technical support inquiries
Clear and concise documentation of technical problems for later incorporation into Knowledge Base
articles
Assist customers through email, phone and remote interaction to diagnose, troubleshoot and address
issues with Serotek software.
Research defects and usability concerns that impact product development, as outlined by the Quality
Assurance Group
Present product overviews, descriptions and other materials to customers in person, over the phone
and through internet broadcasting arenas.
Secondary duties will involve the testing of new products, and reviewing of current product lines, with
the Quality Assurance Group. The ability to isolate and document technical descriptions of product
functionality and behavior is a major requirement of this position.
Qualifications:
We are seeking critical thinkers who are able to analyze technical descriptions of customer inquiries in
order to create, or locate, solutions for Serotek customers. The ability to multi task, and work remotely
with key Team members, is a must.
Candidates with a BS in Communications, Computer Science or related fields are preferred. We are
especially interested in those candidates who are currently using our products for their daily activities.
