Appointments
AppointmentsarerequiredtouseProctorUandallappointmentsneedtobemadeonorbeforethe
deadlinegiventoyoubyyourinstructor. Tomakeanappointment,simplycreateanaccountat
www.proctoru.com/fiu,login,clickonthe“newexam”linkandselecttheexam,date,andtimeyou
desire. Youwillreceiveaconfirmationemailofyourreservationsattheemailaddressthatyou
providedtoProctorU.
Procedure

Planaheadforyoursession.Makesureyouhaveaquiet,privatelocationinwhichtotakethetest.
Theareaandroomaroundyourcomputerwillbescannedusingawebcampriortoyourexam,soall
non‐authorizedmaterialsshouldbeputawayandtheareashouldbeclutter‐free.Youwillalsobe
requiredtoshowpictureidentificationtoyourproctoratthetimeofyourexam.Approvedformsof
identificationinclude,butarenotlimitedto,adriver’slicense,militaryidentificationcard,passport,
orschool‐issuedidentificationcard.Nobreaksareallowedduringyourtestingsessionandcell
phonesandotherdeviceswillnotbepermittedinthetestingarea.Nootherpeopleareallowedinthe
areainwhichthetestisbeingtaken.Anyunauthorizednotesorotherattemptstocheatwillabortthe
testsessionandwillbereportedtoyourinstructor.
Atthedateandtimeofyourappointment,returnto www.proctoru.com/fiu,login,andamessage
willappearsaying,“Youhaveanexam.Clickheretobegin.” Clickonthisbuttonanditwill
automaticallytakeyoutotheproctorpage.Filloutyourpersonalinformationandhitsubmit.You
willthenbedirectedtoascreenwhichwillconnectyoutoyourproctor.Justfollowthestepsonthe
screenandaproctorwillbeconnectedwithyoushortly.
Onceconnected,yourdesignatedproctorwillwalkyouthroughthesetupprocessandyouwilllog
intoyourtestingportal.Yourproctorwillalsosupplythepasswordforyourexamination.Yourexam
