General Tasks of ERC Analytical Group
ROLE OF ERC ANALYTICAL GROUP:
operative information and analytical support ERC emergency management
responsible for protection the public,
rescue personal and environment in case of radiological or nuclear accident
1. Information support:
- collection and processing all necessary data about accident from different information
sources (response initiator, source term database, meteorological provider etc.);
- using GIS to show accident object, place and around area, dose-rates and contaminated
data (if we have), dislocations our field emergency team units and other important
information;
- creating situation reports for ERC emergency management.
2. Analytical support:
- assess of emergency situation: define areas can be contaminated, estimate possible doserates and doses for the public, levels of contamination by special software codes and
prepared models of event;
- collaboration together with group of experts for create recommendations about necessary
protection action in form of report for ERC emergency management.

Meteorological Parameters
Inversion meteorological conditions,
characterised by stability category F and
a conservative wind speed of 1 m/s,
which associated with smallest
dispersion radioactive material in the
horizontal direction and are associated
with the highest radiological effects,
which potentially can get a person in the
cloud
