Application must include the following:
[ ] Application Form. This application form should be the cover page of your proposal.
[ ] Description of Project. This narrative should provide a detailed description of the proposed
project. It should include most of the information that will be used to judge the merit of the project
for funding and the completed assessment plan. Maximum length 1000 words.
[ ] Other Supporting Materials. Although not required, faculty may submit materials supporting
their application, including letters of support (from colleagues knowledgeable of the project’s
area), previous related works, and the like. Any supporting material that cannot be included in
electronic format with the proposal should be sent to the chair of the Professional Council via
campus mail.
[ ] Current Vitae.
Submission of Proposal. The original proposal in electronic format (MS Word preferred) with
this form as the cover page should be emailed to profcouncil@alb.edu by the specified deadline on the
Deadline webpage. Please include the subject heading “summer faculty scholarship application”. Also
attach to your submission email an electronic version of your current vitae.
