You will receive 45 two point multiple choice questions for a total of 90 points. You must provide a
Scantron ( Form No. 882 - ES OR EQUIVALENT) and appropriate pencils for use in answering
these questions. Certain exams will also require you to bring a calculator as well. You will also
receive a separate written answer sheet containing three essay - type questions. You will be
responsible for answering two of these essays or calculation questions, per instructions on the
answer sheet. The third MAY be answered for up to a possible 5 BONUS points. The exam
therefore will be worth a MAXIMUM of 105 points.
THE USE OF ANY UNAUTHORIZED ELECTRONIC DEVICE DURING
EXAMINATIONS OR POST EXAM TEST REVIEW SESSIONS IS CHEATING AND
WILL RESULT IN COURSE FAILURE!!
You will have up to one hour and thirty minutes, measured from five minutes after the start of class,
to complete the exam. Tardy arrival for the exam is INCLUDED in this time limit, and will be held
against the late student!!! At the end of the exam, the instructor will take fifteen minutes to scan
score the objective portion of the exam. You will then have the opportunity to view your scan score,
and check the answer key for the remainder of the class session. (or for FIFTEEN MINUTES if no
student returns to the classroom - I'm not waiting in an empty room!) Any questions or comments
about your score, or any exam question, must be made AT THAT TIME - they will not be
entertained subsequently! Points lost due to erasure smudges or incorrect selection technique on
scantron score sheets WILL NOT be credited back to the student. Record your answers on the
scantron sheet with care!!!
Your essays will be graded and your completed score returned to you WITHIN ONE WEEK of the
exam, on an "official date of return". You will have the opportunity then to inspect your essay sheets
and record your total score for future reference. The answer key for Scantrons WILL NOT BE
AVAILABLE AT THAT TIME!!! After 5 - 10 minutes, the exam items will be collected for
permanent record of the exam event. If the student is absent on the date of exam return, I will
provide the student with his or her scores at a later date, BUT WILL NOT CARRY THE EXAMS
THEMSELVES TO CLASS FOR THE ABSENT STUDENT'S INSPECTION BEYOND
THE OFFICIAL DATE OF RETURN.
NO SCANTRON OR ESSAY SHEETS ARE TO BE KEPT BY THE STUDENT!
UNRETURNED SCANTRONS OR ESSAY SHEETS WILL CONVERT THE STUDENT'S
EXAM GRADE TO A FIRM ZERO!! NO TEST QUESTIONS OR ANSWERS MAY BE
COPIED FROM ANSWER KEYS!!! NO ANSWER KEYS MAY BE COPIED IN ANY WAY
AND TO ANY EXTENT!!! COPYING OF TEST QUESTIONS AND/OR ANSWERS CAN
BE CONSTRUED AS CHEATING AND COULD LEAD TO IMMEDIATE EXAM
