behavior that is not conducive to improving your reading skills.

to what you read today. Consider responding to one of the following questions if you cannot
think of anything to write: What were you thinking about the story? What personal connections
did you make? Explain what you were wondering as you read. Discuss your opinions of the
story or the writing. Make sure your responses are specific.
For make-up readings, you need to read at home for a minimum of 30 minutes and complete this
form. Have your parents sign the form when you are done, then hand this in no later than the
Monday following your absence. If you are in class, you cannot make up a reading.
