Outcomes and evidence requirements Outcome 1 Demonstrate knowledge of Customs documentation requirements for arriving craft crossing the border. Evidence requirements 1.1 The documentation required from the craft operator to advise Customs of the impending arrival and to provide all details pertaining to the craft is described. 1.2 The requirement for the craft operator to provide an inward report, the details required in the report, and the documentation required as part of the report is explained. Evidence requirements 2.1 The requirement for the craft operator to provide an outward report, details required in the report, and the documentation required as part of the report is explained. 2.2 The purpose and issuing procedure for the certificate of clearance are explained in terms of the Customs and Excise Act 1996. 2.3 The process of documenting stores taken on board the craft for use of passengers and crew is described in terms of the Customs and Excise Act 1996.
