Mike Gallagher has been involved as an Aerospace Quality Assurance profession for the last 29 years with Lockheed Martin Space System Company based in Sunnyvale,
California.
During his tenure at the Space Systems Company he has been assigned to most every task within Quality Assurance. He has held positions in Quality Engineering, Material
Review, Software Quality Engineering, Inspection and Test, Procurement Quality,
Supplier Auditing, Data Systems, and QA program management.
For the last twenty years he has held management positions with increasing responsibilities. He has served as Director of Quality Engineering, Director of
Procurement Quality, Director of Quality Management Systems, and currently serving as
Director of Quality Assurance. In this current position his focus is to assist in Aerospace
Industry initiatives and standards development, process improvements and customer liaison.
Mike currently is voting member of AAQG RMC and chairs the RMC Auditor Approval
Team. He is one of the AAQG voting members to the IAQG OPMT. He serves as the
IAQG representative to International Accreditation Forum where he is voting member on the Industry User Committee.
Mike has BS in math theory and economics and MS in Industrial Engineering and
Quality.
