Mike’s Bikes Computer Simulation Grading Approach
Mike’s Bikes accounts for 15% of your grade for this course. Similar to companies that compete in
an industry, each team is direct competition with the other teams in the class. Your grade correlates with
your ability to performance against the industry’s competition. The scale that determines your grade
based on performance is:
Top team
Within 20 % of the top team
Within 40 % of the top team
Within 60 % of the top team
Less than 60 of the top team
full points (~ 4)

2.5 points
2 points
1.5 points
I will grade seven “rollovers” or decision points and drop the lowest four scores to arrive at the 15%
factor for your team.
