SCOPE OF WORK:
The scope of this contract shall be to provide on-call terminal ramp and taxiway improvements at Charlotte Douglas
International Airport to include repairs to concrete slabs on the terminal ramp and selective taxiways. These slabs
are cracked and showing signs of distress and are part of the Airport’s on-going maintenance program.
The initial scope of work includes items related to removal and replacement of 4700 square yards of 15”PCCP for
each specified slab, cement-treat base course repair, recycled concrete aggregated base course and minimal
undercut excavation of wet subgrade material. Incidental work includes joint sawing and joint sealing.

Please NOTE: This is a re-bid of this project that opened bids on 5/12/2016. Bidders are encouraged to reuse the
original bid documents that were issued during the bid period of 3/4/2016 – 5/12/2016 which included drawings,
technical specs and addendums 1-8. A new addendum will be issued with this re-bid which reflects updated
quantities on the pricing sheet.

Graphics is the official PlanRoom provider for Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Bidders must be listed on
the plan holders list held by Richa Graphics in order to receive any Bid Documents.
Pre-Bid Conference: Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is not mandatory, but is strongly encouraged. All
visitors to the CLT Center are required to show photo ID and obtain a visitor’s pass from the CLT Center front desk.
Please allow time for this procedure as the Pre-Bid Conference and Bid Opening times can NOT be changed for any
reason. Preferred brand alternates, to the extent applicable, will be addressed at the Pre-Bid Conference.
