Alissa Hill

My name is Alissa Hill and I was born to Norman & Joanne
Walker in Modesto California. Growing up, I always knew I
wanted to become a nurse. The feeling became stronger when I
watched my grandfather succumb to leukemia in 1980. After
graduating from Beyer High School in Modesto, I departed the
following August for Fresno State. I graduated Cum Laude from
the Nursing Program four years later. I am married to a wonderful
man, Tim Hill, who I met at Fresno State through mutual friends.
We are getting ready to celebrate 16 years of marriage. We have 3
gorgeous children: Michael, 15; Kayla, 13; and Gianna 8. Since
finishing nursing school, I have worked for the same employer,
Memorial Medical Center in Modesto, Ca. In my 16 years here I
have worked on a diabetic/renal unit, spent 8 years in Intensive
Care, and currently work in a very busy Cardiac Catheterization
Lab. My husband and I have more recently gone in to business for
ourselves with Mona Vie.
