On hold. Researching.
Clean Address looks really good and would be
helpful. HR needs the last four digits of the zip for
PeopleSoft and Clean Address would populate. It
would be nice to have this early in conversion and
run it so we could go ahead and clean up the
addresses on legacy now.
1. Users are working on cleanup. IT will report on
progress at next meeting.
2. Dawne will be emailing lists to Linda to distribute.
Transcript cleanup will be an ongoing process.
3. The catalog is in uppercase. Julie will check with

Linda regarding printed schedule and if she’s any
issue with changing this to lowercase now.
4. Kurt is working on differences between BOX and
Payroll birthdates.
5. A count by city and zip for BOX would be massive.
This is an area that Clean Address could help in.
6. In mapping we said if there were any Y’s then it
would be moved over as Y. These codes are used
differently for campus directory. Kelly will see if
there is a place for the print and campus indicator.
Need to make sure if alumni overwrites BOX that
it’s not changed.
7. Kurt is comparing BOX and payroll for differences. .
8. Kelly/Kurt/Angie are looking at.
9. Don’t convert any of BOX or HR data as it’s
unreliable. Only Alumni will be converted.
10. Yes, these will be converted.
11. Kurt and Angie looking at differences. Regarding
death date, this should be converted for everyone
except current employees.
Other than what is already scheduled, let’s postpone any
demos or non-necessary meetings until after December.

Discussion, Information
Kurt asked Laurene about faculty tenure and is waiting on
her to respond.
The student prototype still doesn’t have all of the codes we
need for the extracts.
Roll from sunfire IFAS and IRISDB to sunray IFAS and
IRISDB the day before we start extracts. Greg will make a
copy of this and save it so that we can restore it back to
sunray at any time and have the same data that was used
with conversion.

him.
No update.

Action Taken, Decisions, Recommendations, Time Line
The library computers do not face the slide screen. Sherry
will see if that is something that can be modified.
Go ahead and copy the databases now so we can have fresh
data when writing our scripts.
Discussed copying the directory tree minus client_specific
and decided to delay this at this time. Greg will look into
fixing the output directories on sunray.
Be sure to add all of the tables that need extracted to the list
at W:\workgrps\its_share\something so we can see what
needs to be done and who is working on each one.
Sherry will check with Debbie and see if this can be moved
to the top of the helpdesk requests and get this finished.
