Task Explanation Worksheet
Your task: To talk story with others to find out what they know about gardening and how
they can share their hands and/or experience by helping to create a school garden.
Task steps:
__ meet with school staff, family members, neighbors, and/or friends
__ talk story with them about creating a school garden
__ find out what they know about gardening
__ share with them what you have learned about creating a school garden

__ ask them to write, in one or more of the boxes, how they could help (use back of sheet,
if necessary
__ ask them to sign their name
__ refer to the rubric to make sure you have completed the task correctly
__ turn in the worksheet on time
