POSITION: Program Director (Permanent, Full Time) NATURE OF WORK: The North Lakeland
Discovery Center
(NLDC) operates within a team-minded framework and as a mission-based organization, focused on
delivering high-quality mission and service opportunities. The Program Director is responsible for
ensuring the day-to-day operations of the Center, support the organization, our membership, and the
broader Northwoods community. This is accomplished through collaborative planning and
implementation, and strong, active, and directed communications.
Together with the Executive Director, he/she will provide the support necessary to reach annual financial,
program, membership and community relations goals for the organization. QUALIFICATIONS: The
position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Non-Profit Management, Education or a related field, and prior
experience in non-profit program development, delivery and management, budget development,
reporting and tracking, and staff/volunteer coordination and supervision. APPLICATION DEADLINE:
