Testing
ENGLISH/LANGUAGE ARTS
~identify the characters, setting, and plot of a
story.
~identify subjects and predicates.
~use context clues and reference materials to
determine the meaning of multi-meaning words.
MATH
~recognize multiplication as repeated addition of
arrays.
~use patterns and multiplication properties to
solve multiplication problems.
~use models to solve division problems.
~write and complete multiplication and division
fact families.
We finished MAP Reading and Math this
week. Your child should be able to
communicate their score to you and how it
compared to their goal for this Fall testing
session.
We will work to set a new goal and
determine some specific strategies for
improvement for the Winter date.
The information will come home to you in
the next couple weeks.
