COURSE OVERVIEW
The main responsibility of the Human Resource Department is to give accurate advice to
HOD because all HODs are ‘the real’ Human Resource Manager. HR Department staff is
expert in all matter pertaining HR matters but HODs have direct authority on every staff. In
addition to that, every HR staff should know the direction of his company and is aware of
all internal and external development/environment. HR Department is important to ensure
all policies, rules and regulations adhere to all legal requirement. At the same time, it must
ensure all employees are effective, creative and competent in ensuring the vision of the
company is achieved. This course will expose some of the basic function of HR
Department, and how they are inter-related and is mutually supporting.
