Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related human service field
with two years of professional MH/DD/SA experience and licensure in related discipline, or Licensed Professional
Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist or Licensed Psychological
Associate, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Criminal and driver's record check are
required. A skills test consisting of a written exercise and oral presentation may be administered to applicants
selected for interviews.
Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Focused training and knowledge of child serving systems of care.
Duties: Provide clinical assessments and treatment interventions including individual, group, and family therapy in
a clinical outpatient program serving children in foster care or those at risk of entering foster care and their family
members. These services may be provided on and off site for children who have been abused, neglected, and/or are
dependent. Provide crisis intervention for disruptive clients and perform assessments of a client’s mental status to
determine their psychiatric needs. Formulate diagnoses and initiate person-centered plans. Screen for clinical
syndromes of withdrawal from drugs and/or alcohol.
