For your model from the previous part of the project, take the dual. ‘
Discussion
Answer the following questions.
1. Interpret the dual that you took. In particular, what could the dual variables represent?
2. In the data given, two new depths for sonic buoys are presented, 600’ and 800’. Solve
your model without these two depths (it is easiest to create two new .dat files). Based
on your results, discuss whether the Navy should consider these two new depths. Be sure
to consider the impact of the different sonic layer depths as well as the differing optimal
objectives.
Hand in your code, dual formulation, and discussion by the last day of classes. The
discussion should be typed in Word or similar word processor.
