EVALUATING THE 12TH GRADE EXPERIENCE
GRADE 12 LESSON 41
Time Required: 30-45 minutes
Content Standards:
AA.S.6 Students will understand the relationship between
personal qualities, education, training and the world of work.
Indicators (Students will…):
AA.C.6.12 Share feelings, insights, successes and challenges
of the LINKS program and senior year.
AA.C.12.6.13 Evaluate the ability to balance school, studies,
extracurricular activities, and family life.
GOAL: Students will complete an evaluation of the 12th grade experience
including the LINKS program
Activity Statements:
1. Students will complete an on-line survey sometime during the week prior to the last
LINKS session.
2. Students will discuss successes and challenges of the 12th grade year.

Handout 1 Setting and Reaching Goals
Procedures:
1. Students will divide into groups and discuss five successes and five challenges of the
school year.
2. Students will share in large groups their successes and challenges.
3. Review goals letter and discuss if you are on target for successful completion. Review
checklist from lesson 12.31
